FATA Disaster Management Authority requires the following position under the sub project of FDMA ERP / NADRA purely on contract basis.

Grievances Specialist Master’s degree in Computer Sciences /MIT/BS (4 years) / Project Management/Development Planning from an HEC recognized institution or equivalent At least 3 years’ work experience of managing relief projects with minimum of 1 years in public sector.

  • Should have worked in implementation of relief projects, with proven experience of managing multidisciplinary grievances.
  • Consistently positive and constructive approach to work.
  • Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates ability to manage complexities/grievances.
  • Should be familiar with the tribal culture and traditions.

 

Objectives;

Grievance Specialist (Field) will be reporting to Grievance Specialist (HQs.). S/he will be responsible to manage all the grievance related activities/ issues in assigned cluster. In addition to above, the resource is expected to perform role of supervision to ensure effective and smooth implementation of operational activities against described standard operating procedures, mentioned in operations manual, grievance guidelines and other supporting documents of project. Each GR Specialist (field) shall be responsible for one Agency area out of five agencies that fall under project scope. Data collection from field through direct observations and grievance associates will also be a responsibility of resource. Liaison with grievance associates, OSS staff, political administration and FDMA HQs shall also be among the responsibilities of GR Specialist (field).

 

 

Scope and responsibilities

 

The Grievance Specialist (Field) will be responsible to:

 

  • Responsible to resolve all GR cases within stipulated time.
  • Share all resolved cases with GR Specialist (FDMA HQ) to update on NADRA GR portal
  • Coordinate and get support from Political Administration for verification/ resolution of all GR cases.
  • Ask beneficiary to provide supporting documents, if deemed necessary.
  • Maintain record of the total cash transfer to the beneficiary of ERP within the jurisdiction of the concerned agency and reconcile the information with the FDMA headquarter.
  • Facilitate FDMA ERP staff in data analysis and furnishing of periodic reports to the management as per agreed timelines
  • Ensure maintenance and management of all hardware and software components based on the business requirements of the ERP management.
  • Identify problems and implement suitable solutions tendered by headquarter/GR Specialist.
  • Liaise with NADRA and other stakeholders’ in the agency to facilitate ERP data sharing and collaboration on data management.
  • Provide the necessary support and work on a team basis with all members of the ERP partners to accomplish program goals.
  • Contribute technical and professional knowledge and experience to improve ERP disbursement mechanism by properly identifying the gaps and recording grievances.
  • Maintain record of all GR cases.
  • Support FDMA, EAD and NADRA in audit (internal/external) of GR cases.
  • Support Operational Review activity of the project.
  • Support EAD in implementation of Media and Communication/ beneficiary outreach campaigns of the project
  • Identify and resolve issues with the GR mechanism as they arise
  • Any other duty assigned from time to time to meet the scope of the assignment.
